Skiing
 Regarded
by many as one of the top ski resorts in the world. The slopes cater
for every level of skiing. There is also a kids ski club throughout
the summer offering a range of facilities depending on the weather.
Skiing and Snowboarding Nov to June
Skiing/Riding until August 2
Whistler Mountain will remain open until June 11. Blackcomb Mountain
will re-open June 12th for skiing/riding on the Glacier until August
2 (weather permitting).

With numerous activites for children one of the most popular is the
Borders Terrain kids skiing. A fully licenced programme it is best
to pre register your children prior to arrival to ensure availability.

For added excitement and adventure to your holiday, check out Heli-skiing.
Intermediate to advanced skiers and riders will be guided down over
10,000 vertical feet of powder.
SNOWMOBILING & SNOWSHOE TOURS
 Snowmobile
& Snowcat Tours
Whistler's incredible snow conditions have allowed Canadian Snowmobile
to extend their Snowcoach tours in the high alpine into the spring
and early summer. Sit back and enjoy the view from your seat in a
comfortable, deluxe CD-equipped snowcat.
Snowshoe Tours
"If you can walk, you can snowshoe," is the motto of Outdoors@Whistler,
which offers guided snowshoe tours on Whistler Mountain. A 1 1/2 hour
nature/culture tour is scheduled to depart Olympic Station every day
at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. from May through to June 11. When snow conditions
force the action to move higher, tours will start at the top of Whistler.
The introductory tours are perfect for first-timers, offering a first-hand
look at the local ecosystem. Birdhouses are abundant along scenic
trail and participants will get a chance to hand feed wild birds.
